About the event

Ruth Danon will read alongside poets Miranda Beeson, Joanna Fuhrman and Matt Coonan at the Gowanus open shoreline.

A Persistence of Cormorants is a summer-long poetry reading series on the Gowanus shoreline featuring accomplished and exceptional poets from the New York area. Reading will be outdoors at the Gowanus open shoreline. Event may move to inside the boathouse if it begins to rain or we want to escape the summer heat.  Participation is free but donations are encouraged to sustain the efforts of the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club, an advocacy stewardship organization who has been representing neighborhood interests for over two decades.
